High school coaches know
that parents often
mistakenly assume
that the recruiting
process begins during an
athlete's senior year in
high school. But, as
all high school coaches
know, colleges begin
their evaluation of
athletes much earlier -
often in the freshman
year. They know that
the earlier a prospect
is identified to
colleges, the better the
college coaches can
track the athlete's
progress - thus, the
better the athlete's
chances of being
recruited.
High school coaches
understand that NCAA
rules limit college
coaches in the number of
visits they can make,
and that these coaches
are normally prohibited
from making visits to an
athlete until the senior
year. But, they also
know that college
coaches begin gathering
information on athletes
much earlier -normally
by sending athletic
"questionnaires" as
early as a the freshman
year. Coaches
understand that while
receiving questionnaires
is not an indicator that
scholarship offers will
follow, these
questionnaires are a
good indicator as to the
amount of attention an
athlete is generating.
Every year, high school
coaches see athletes who
have waited too long to
start their recruiting
process and have ended
up disappointed. Coaches
know that the key to
successful recruiting is
to be identified by
colleges as early as
possible and to keep
college coaches updated
on progress throughout
the high school career.
Most high school coaches
know that there are many
scouting services across
the United States. They
know that some offer
very helpful assistance,
while others
charge exorbitant fees
for services that are of
little benefit to high
school athletes. They know that
we offer a proactive
website that truly helps
athletes with their
recruiting. Most are
familiar with our FREE
exposure programs and
with minimally priced
additional programs for
those athletes that want
or need those additional
services.
High school coaches
understand the rising
costs of college and the
importance of
scholarships. And, they
have a strong commitment
to assisting their
quality players in
progressing to the next
level. They know that
our recruiting tools
offer the perfect
resource to assist them
and their athletes in
this endeavor.
In addition to our FREE
exposure, The Recruiting
ConneXion offers
your athletes the
following VALUABLE tools
and resources:

Athletic Website Profile
via our website and
MVP's national
searchable databases.
**Resources to
access our "College
Coach Locator" database
in their chosen sport -
to locate prospective

programs and coaches.
The database contains
over 20,000 college
coaches, and maintains
them by school, state
(or region), division,
and coach.
**Tools and
resources for the
athlete to select and
target specific athletic
programs and schools

information and profile
website link (URL).
This allows athletes to
send their information
to college coaches
quickly and easily from
their computer.
**Tools allowing the
athlete to upload their
transcript, high school
or team coach's
recommendation and
additional support
items, such as newspaper
clippings and awards.
**Tools and
resources to attach up
to 7 minutes of online
video directly to the
Athletic Profile
Website. (This allows
college coaches the
ability of watching the
athlete's video online
and saves the athlete
the expense of producing
and sending many "hard
copy" videos).
